About NIELIT Imphal

NIELIT Imphal Centre, formerly DOEACC & CEDTI, located at Akampat, Imphal East, Manipur was setup in the year 1988 and is operational since July 1989 at a land allotted by Govt. of Manipur on lease for 99 years.

The prime objective of the Institute is to create skilled manpower in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science and Electronics and related disciplines for making available industry ready professionals as also to provide infrastructure to promote e-learning. The Institute is offering training programmes to improve employment opportunities and facilitate availability of quality IT manpower, which will lead to growth of IT industry in the region.
